Faro Airport Bus

From Faro Airport, passengers can use public transportation to get to several areas around. 

Route 16: Faro airport – Faro city centre 

Otherwise known as the pink lane, Route 16 covers the route from Faro Bus Station to Faro Airport and ending at Praia de Faro (Ilha de Faro).

Once in Faro, you can take other coach lines to go to other villages of Algarve.

Schedule

There are several coaches a day.

Buses run from 05:20 am until 00:10 am, approximately.

There are a couple of bus stops at Faro Airport:

- Next to Departures entrance
- Next to Arrivals exit

See one-way ticket cost:

- Adult: € 2.25
- Children: € 1.50

Route 14: Faro city centre via Faro Airport

By Route 14 you can get to Montenegro and Forum Algarve from Faro Airport, among other locations in the city centre.

On the round trip, it goes through Atalaia and ends its route in Faro Bus Station.

Trip time from Faro Airport to Bus Station is 30 minutes.

Schedule

Buses depart from FAO Airport to Praia at 07:30 am, 08:20 am, 08:50 am, 09:20 am, 09:50 am, 10:50 am and 05:30 pm.

On its way back to Faro Bus Station, at 07:45 am, 12:35 pm, 06:35 pm and 08:20 pm.

It offers transportation to and from Albufeira, Portimao and Lagos.
